The EU has been having talks with Belgrade and Pristina on the continuation of their Brussels dialogue, agency BETA learns from the cabinet of EU High Representative Catherine Ashton. They state there has been willingness and intention to resume that process following a delay caused by the parliamentary elections in Serbia and the formation of the new Serbian government. EU officials would not comment on the statements of The Wall Street Journal that Ashton intends to be personally involved in the dialogue. The EU sources state that the forthcoming visit of Serbian PM Ivica Dacic to Brussels on Tuesday will be a true opportunity for a thorough exchange of opinions on the dialogue and steps that could contribute to a faster integration of Serbia in the EU.
