EU mediator in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Robert Cooper greeted after talks in the Serbian Presidency the readiness of Belgrade to resolve key issues related to Kosmet through talks at a higher level, it was announced from the Serbian president’s cabinet. The advisor of President Tomislav Nikolic, Marko Đurić, who had talks with Cooper, emphasized that it was important that the Serbian public should be fully informed of all the aspects of the reached agremeents and political prospects for resolving the issue of Kosmet. It is said in the statement that the talks conducted in Brussels so far have represented an important element in the consensus between the relevant political factors in Serbia on the Kosmet issue. This is an imporant prerequisite for the realization of Serbian interests in Kosmet, said Đurić.
