Leader of the Socialist Party Ivica Dacic has stated that the priorities of the new government will be the European course of Serbia but also to protect the state interests. He has pointed that it includes solving the problem of Kosmet in a peaceful way and through negotiations, based on the implementation of what has already been agreed. I think it is essentially important to define the Balkans as the zone of peace and stability, Dacic told the press at the farewell reception of German Ambassador Wolfram Maas. Looking at the criteria that have been set so far, it is very important to seriously approach the continuation of the talks and resolve the biggest possible number of issues that could represent some sort of obstacle in obtaining the date to open the negotiations with the EU, specified Dacic. In the forthcoming days, we will discuss it with other parties as well, but it is clear that there is already the parliamentary majority, he stressed.
