The monk of the Serbian Orthodox Church Mitrofan (Milorad Bulajic), has been beaten up in the southern part of Kosovska Mitrovica where two unknown persons attacked him without any reason, priest Milija Arsovic confirmed to the Tanjug news agency. Having sustained head and arm injuries, monk Mitrofan was admitted to a surgical ward of the Health Care Center in northern Mitrovica. Arsovic specified that the monk was attacked near the town hall in the Albanian-majority southern Mitrovica. After the attack, members of the Kosovo police brought him to the hospital.
