Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic had attended in London the reception prior to the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, hosted by Queen Elizabeth II. Nikolic came to the reception with his wife Dragica, and Queen hosted around 100 world leaders. The Serbian President has also visited the Olympic village, wished luck to our athletes and said that victories in the Olympic Games are made for themselves and for Serbia. Nikolic has stressed that he expects the Serbian Olympic expedition to win the jubilee 100th medal, and maybe even go past that brilliant number. The President will stay in London for two more days and cheer for Serbian athletes during their performances over the weekend. At the opening ceremony, the Serbian flag was carried by tennis player Novak Djokovic, and our country will have 115 representatives in the 30th Olympics, competing in 15 sports.
