Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosmet Werner Almhofer has condemned the violent incidents that happened during yesterday’s marking of Vidovdan, and he called for a detailed investigation. Almhofer has asked to also investigate the claims about the use of excessive force by the Kosovo police against Serbs. I invite the Kosovo Police Inspection office to search into any bad conduct of the police, underlined Almhofer. Namely, during the celebration of the holiday of Vidovdan, dozens of Serbs have been injured, some of whom seriously. Among them, there were children who had taken a trip to the celebration of Vidovdan.
