President of the Zubin Potok municipality Slavisa Ristic has condemned this morning’s action of the international forces to disable the alternative roads in northern Kosmet, and assessed that KFOR has openly taken the side of the interim authorities in Pristina. The KFOR Command and the self-declared institutions in Pristina are trying to fully isolate the Serbs and surround them by barbwire, warned Ristic. He has pointed that this action means the continuation of violence in that area. According to Ristic, the international forces and Pristina are attempting to force the Serb population to cross the administrative line through the main checkpoint, in order to commence the implementation of the decree on registration plates and personal documents. The municipality president has added that the alternative roads, which have been disabled by KFOR, were used by common citizens, and not the commercial merchandise.
