Sixteen filmakers, actors and critics from Serbia have been elected members of the European Film Academy, at a meeting of the board of that institution within the Cinema City festival in Novi Sad. The new EFA members are: Darko Bajić, Srđan Dragojević, Dubravka Lakić, Radoslav Vladić, Jelica Đokić, Milena Dravić, Slavko Štimac, Ljubiša Samardžić, Kornelije Kovač, Vera Vlajić, Mirko Beoković, Petar Volk, Božidar Zečević, Tomislav Gavrić, Nenad Dukić and Radoslav Zelenović, the organizers of Cinema City, announced. Members of the European Film Academy Board, which is presided by eminent director Wim Wenders, were honourable guests of the Cinema City festival, which was the first official apperance of the EFA in Serbia.
