Head of the Belgrade negotiating team Borislav Stefanovic has assessed that the decision of the International Steering Group to end the so-called supervised independence of Kosmet does not mean much, because the KFOR and EULEX are staying in the Province. That decision is not very important from the standpoint of our national stance toward Kosmet, because the less foreign influence and at least some obstacle to the reckless and unilateral moves of Pristina, the better, Stefanovic specified for the Kontakt Plus radio from Kosovska Mitrovica. He has warned, however, that it is a dangerous thing, because in a way it gives Pristina additional freedom to realize its unilateral solutions. That is hazardous because it is well known that the so-called independent Kosmet is neither defined nor democratic and de-criminalized creation.
