Head of the Belgrade team in the dialogue with Pristina Borislav Stefanovic and U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Philip Reeker agreed that it is necessary to continue the dialogue and implement the agreements achieved so far. After the meeting in Belgrade, Stefanovic reiterated that all agreements reached in Brussels are public. We agreed that it is possible to raise the dialogue to a political level, that is, the level of the very negotiators, with the aim to resolve more difficult issues and implement the agreements achieved with Pristina in an easier fashion, Stefanovic said. Reeker, who arrived in Serbia on Tuesday prior to the visit of U.S. Secretary of State Assistant for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon on July 8-9, met with leaders of the Serbian Progressive Party, Socialist Party of Serbia, United Regions of Serbia, and Liberal Democratic Party. He also had a brief meeting with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.
