Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic is in Rio de Janeiro, heading the state delegation at the UN conference “Rio 20 plus”, dedicated to the green economy and development. At the “Summit about Earth”, as this gathering is also called, the focus will be on the attempt to put the global economy on the better sustainable foundations, and Serbia is represented by Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic and Minister of Environment Protection Oliver Dulic. The participation of 100 representatives from world states and governments is announces, with the goal of forming a pact on the green planet. Also expected is the signing of the agreement “The future we wish”, which envisages better safety in the supply of energy, food and water in the poor countries.
