Head o the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Aleksandar Vulin has pointed that the statement of former UN Envoy Martti Ahtsaari, saying that Serbia should not be allowed to join the EU until it recognizes Kosmet, is paying off debts to Albanian lobbyists. The Republic of Serbia is not some “banana country”. It has its Constitution and will uphold it. Serbia is a member of the UN, so it will respect UN Security Council’s Resolution 1244. His statement is meant as the pay off of debts to Albanian lobbyists, and we owe him nothing, said Vulin. He has also reminded that Ahtisaari’s plan was rejected in Serbia, which only makes it “even more irrelevant”.
