
In the 16th Balkan Mathematics Olympics, held in the Greek town of Veria, the grade school pupils from Serbia have won six medals – three silver and three bronze. The silver medals were won by the pupils of the eighth grade, sponsored by the Mathematics Lyceum in Belgrade, Luka Vukelic and Nikola Samardzic, as well as Aleksa Konstantinov from Kikinda. The bronze medals went to seventh grade student from Novi Sad, Kristina Siladji, her peer from the grade school sponsored by the Mathematic Lyceum, Aleksnadar Milosevic, and eighth grade student from Nis, Stanislav Todorovic.
